Swing Auditorium has been crafting a genre-blurring sound since April 2023, merging psychedelic soul, rock, and funk into a sonic palette that’s both nostalgic and forward-looking. Their singles —“Push”, “Work That Way”, and the upcoming “Hot To The Touch”— bring groove and grit, while deeper cuts like “Housefire” and a haunting reinterpretation of the Mexican folk legend “La Llorona” reveal an introspective core.
Led by San Bernardino-based songwriter Andrew Sandoval, Swing Auditorium is a revolving collective of musicians from Southern California’s Inland Empire—a region often overlooked but rich in creative fire. The band’s name honors the iconic San Bernardino venue that once hosted legends like Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Santana before a tragic plane crash brought the curtain down in 1981. Swing Auditorium channels that legacy, blending timeless influences with a distinctly southwestern soul.
